David Paul Montgomery, Jr. has been with Braxton & Holway, P.A. since 2005.  He currently manages the firm's assurance and business advisory services department.
 
Mr. Montgomery's expertise relates to assurance and business advisory services for Common Interest Realty Associations (CIRA's), Non-Profit Organizations, Non-Public Companies, and Construction Contractors. Additionally, Mr. Montgomery provides individual and small business tax compliance services for the firm.
 
Mr. Montgomery is a graduate of Manatee High School and received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 2001.  Mr. Montgomery is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and Georgia.
 
During his college career, Mr. Montgomery served an internship with Braxton & Holway, P.A. during the summer of 2001 and with PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P. (PwC) during the winter of 2002.  After college he started full-time with PwC where he served as an associate in their Assurance and Business Advisory Services department from the winter of 2004 until his full-time employment at Braxton & Holway, P.A. in July 2005.
 
Mr. Montgomery is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the University of Florida Alumni Association and currently serves on the Board of the Manatee High School Baseball Boosters.
 
Mr. Montgomery resides in Bradenton.  During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing several competitive sports, and traveling.  He also is an avid Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Rays fan.
